Riogas App: The company that brings warmth to the Uruguayan people now has a mobile solution

Simplifica, a GeneXus Solution Partner, has developed a mobile application that connects customers in Montevideo and the metropolitan area, as well as all its bulk customers.

Do you have a company that offers products or services and communicates with customers? If so, you need a smartphone application to get closer to your customers. With this in mind, RIOGAS has introduced an app that makes it possible to stay connected and provide gas supply services in a fast and reliable way.

Riogas is a Uruguayan company dedicated to the packaging and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas in all its packaging options: 13 Kg cylinders, 45 Kg cylinders, bulk, or piped. It has nearly 2,000 employees including administration, sales, packaging, transportation and distribution staff, and serves more than 350,000 homes and thousands of Uruguayan companies all over the country –in sectors such as beekeeping, farming, educational institutions, hotels, manufacturing, meat packing plants, supermarkets, hospitals, party venues, etc.

In Montevideo, it has more than 30 sales and distribution centers, which are complemented with approximately 150 centers outside the capital city.

Simplifica's mobile application (Android and iOS) enables users to order gas cylinder refills or  bulk gas from mobile devices, whether phones or tablets. In addition, users can find the location of points of sale and how to contact Riogas.

Less than two months after launch, the application has already reached thousands of downloads in both platforms, and has been widely accepted by bulk customers and supermarkets.
