With K2B and GeneXus, the Central Bank of Paraguay has become more connected and dynamic
After a thorough selection process, the Central Bank of Paraguay (BCP) chose K2B to implement a comprehensive management solution that automates its accounting, financial, administrative, and human resources processes.
K2B is a world-class multi-platform ERP developed with GeneXus technology, a solution that will make the bank's processes more robust and effective.
The scope of the project includes Financial Management, Budgeting, Accounting, Human Resources Management, Administrative Management, Procurement, Recruiting and K2B Gesdoc for Document Management. With only K2B Gesdoc, the module used Bank-wide, 1,200 files had already been entered into the new system during the first month.
The team that includes a Project Manager, Change Management Manager, Functional Leaders and Key Users is made up of the consortium between K2B, CPA Ferrere, and BCP.
The Bank's digital transformation was accomplished thanks to the components associated with GeneXus used by K2B: BPM, GAM and GeneXus Query. Its knowledge base consists of 17,400 objects and 709 tables, and has a fully modular, extensible and service-oriented architecture. It is based on patterns generated by K2BTools, and features a user interface designed according to its own Design System: Rigel.
Much of its functionality is exposed through APIs implemented with GeneXus, which allow it to be extended and integrated into the application ecosystem of each organization.
This milestone is a first step towards making the Bank more efficient, while optimizing the use of time, human resources and paper. The transformation will enable the integrated management of operations, as well as greater control and transparency of its processes, thus improving the quality of information and decision making.
