Edwin Díaz, Ares Datos' General Manager, received the
"Best Channel Development" award at the latest GeneXus Distributors Meeting.

to large clients that didn't know the brand or the product. Clients that are
known worldwide and that are only accessed by large suppliers have finally

Manager.
Ares Datos has been the GeneXus distributor in Panama
since March 2002. Together with ARTech and Microsoft of Panama, the company
organized the GeneXus.NET Early Adopter Program. The Melo Group, authorities
from the Panama Canal (ACP), Cable & Wireless, Caja de Seguro Social, and
Tribunal Electoral were some of the program participants.
"After these initiatives, licenses were granted to the
Melo Group, Cable & Wireless, ACP, the ETESA Group, and Tribunal Electoral,"
said Ares Datos' General Manager.
"We are currently working with the GeneXus Consulting team
to develop a large mission-critical application for Cable & Wireless that
will control the whole invoicing process of calls from market operators. This
application will be developed with GeneXus.NET on the Microsoft .NET Framework
with SQL Server," he added.
"As a software house, Ares Datos has adopted GeneXus as
the development tool for all its applications. We have seen a dramatic increase
in developer productivity and significant time savings in application
development and maintenance," Díaz concluded.
