Developed in only 10 days and using many of GXportal's
capabilities to incorporate ASIS' powerful ERP product manager, the new internet
portal of ASIS is a great case where many of the powerful features new in
GXportal 4.2 are used.
ASIS, Inc. a consulting IT company based in Virginia, USA
just published its new website (http://www.asis-e.com) along with its lead product Manager-e (http://www.manager-e.com) which are
now using GXPortal. The portal was created in less than 10 days of work. This
includes the GXPortal learning curve of Gabriel Gramajo the ASIS engineer in
charge of this task. Gabriel blended GXPortal with Java scripts, Flash
technology, and Genexus to produce very dynamic and nice looking web pages that
communicate the intended messages.
Another project with GXportal is ASIS' powerful ERP
product Manager-e which integrates Project/Activity Management, HR, Contract and
Task Management, and Vendor/client Management. Some of the original features of
the product include dynamic GIS interfaces with Arc-View and Google, and
synchronization with the server and notebooks for clients who may use the
product when temporarily off-line.
