Q: What is the GXFinder and to which user is aiming at?

GXFinder is a tool made with GeneXus for users of GeneXus, which makes possible to search in Knowledge Bases Objects, Attributes and Tables when that is not easily done by GeneXus. For example: Patterns in Attributes, Objects or Tables, Attributes by Type or Length, Attributes without Picture, without Domain, Not Used, Redundant. There can also be queries of Objects by Creation, Modification or Specification Date. It provides information of Objects Not Used by Other Objects and other queries that are described in the Web. GXFinder makes the developer's work easier and helps the Manager by supervising the developments with GeneXus.

P: How long did it take to develop?

GXFinder began to be designed last year in September and was ready in December.

P: What are the features for next versions?

The future of GXFinder is related to the future of GXpublic. As new functionalities are added to GXpublic, they will also be included to GXFinder. We are working to provide the information in a more open way; for example generating Excel Worksheets with the queries made to GXFinder.
