- How will the Extension work?
The UTL analyzer will allow developers to view the call tree of a given object and to identify the programs that close the UTL. For that, the properties (commit on exit and execute in new luw), and the code (commit) are analyzed for avoiding problems inherent to the situation.
- What motivated you to participate in the second edition of Collaborative Projects 2.0?
My main motivation is to get to know other developers and work in cooperation with them. This happened, exactly as I expected it, because, upon registering the project, I did not have a clear idea as to the way I should go about it, and that’s where Marcos appeared on scene, volunteering to cooperate (so far, I believe it will be me the one cooperating, because he has provided most of the code!!).
-What are the challenges involved in your project?
There are a number of challenges, since this would be my first extension, and I’m still "struggling" to learn how to correctly manage the extensions platform. Also this way of working through the Internet (Marcos is in Uruguay and I live in Paraguay) implies a great challenge for me, especially working with someone whom I have never met personally.
-What are your expectations in relation to CP 2.0?
I ignore if we could win any prize (which are more than interesting I would say!) but I believe that the fact of being able to present a very useful tool – in my opinion – to the GeneXus Community is, in itself, an actual achievement.
