This new enterprise is a joint venture with the company
S&D (Systems and Developments, also based in Uruguay) and will operate in
that country under the name of "SITIMEX".
"We believe that the volume of operations that we can
achieve in Mexico will help to enhance our products, which will in turn benefit
to our local clients," said Eng. Gustavo Charbonnier, director of
Datalogic.
The new offices, located in the WORLD TRADE CENTER
building in Mexico City, will provide crucial logistics support for the
commercialization of the Human Resources system developed by
Datalogic.
"In addition to this new operation, we have recently
signed an agreement with the prestigious local consulting firm Odiardi,
specialized in Human Resources. This agreement will enhance our support to the
distribution channels of our product GIRH," said Charbonnier.
Lic. Mauricio Benítez -formerly at Crystal Decisions- will
be SITIMEX's Director.
