First iSeries Laboratory in Uruguay

On May 24 at 07:00 pm, IBM Uruguay, Interamericana de Cómputos and ARTech will launch the IBM iSeries Laboratory in Uruguay, at Montevideo Sheraton Hotel, Punta Brava Ball Room.

The first IBM's iSeries laboratory will be launched in Uruguay on May 24. It will allow developers and technicians to try IBM's integrated system features, free of charge. The news is not the excellent productivity and high performance of this server, but the possibility of trying its features, that make it possible:      

To simplify the environment, thus reducing costs and allowing to reinvest the savings to make the business grow.
To execute a wide range of above 6,400 important applications with more than  2.500 ISV's. 
To become an On Demand company with a safe, reliable and complete integrated system.
To save money, avoiding multiple security patches along the year.
To reduce company data security concern.

IBM investment to provide programmers, technical developers and customers with the opportunity to try these features amounts to over half million dollars.
