GeneXus Alliance in Angola

BCN, Paulós Asociados, and Soluciones will install software developed with GeneXus in 31 Angola hospitals.

The alliance of BCN, Paulós Asociados, and Soluciones Salto, all three of them companies developing with GeneXus, won a bid in Angola for the installation of management software administration, accounting, and payroll in 31 hospitals of the Angolan Ministry of Public Health. The alliance applied to the call for bid from the Angolan Ministry of Finance. The application was made together with Consultora GDS, with which a contract was signed for the distribution of all its products in Angola and Portuguese-speaking African countries. The consulting company is also the Oracle representative in the region. Gustavo Olmos, at BCN, traveled to Angola today in order to carry out the first three installations and train GDS staff in charge of installing the software in the remaining 28 hospitals. The system that won this bid in the African country resulted from software integration by the three companies, Hector Beiro, BCN Director, reported yesterday.

This is the first product export made possible through the alliance of three companies. In Uruguay, they have already installed software for document discount and credit management at ACAC, a financial institution, as well as software for administration, accounting, and payroll at TechTel, a telecommunications company.

BCN, Paulós y Asociados, and Soluciones are members of the ARTech 's GeneXus Alliance.
