GeneXus in the technology and business field

The XII GeneXus International Meeting will be launched next September 17. It will convene the GeneXus community for a three-day conference about technology and business to be held in the Montevideo Radisson Victoria Plaza Hotel.

This year the GeneXus community encounter combines the opportunity of doing business with an essential focus on technology.  The XII GeneXus International Meeting also includes the VIII Exposition of Knowledge Bases, laboratories, e-center and further services provided in previous years. This is a space reserved for the presentation of solutions and services and will require the scheduling of a parallel agenda.

The proposal for the XII GeneXus International Meeting is to generate a suitable space for the launching of products and their presentation to potential customers or distributors.   ARTech will provide the logistics and will endorse the invitation to the target audience.  This space is already available for those who take part in the VII Exposition of knowledge bases. Besides, those companies which would like to offer solutions and services can make their reservations.

During the event, participants will be allowed to coordinate their agendas through the WEB (http://www.genexus.com/evento2001 ) where, according to their interest, they will have the option of entering their profiles and arrange meetings with other participants.

Furthermore, the possibility of registering offers of and demands for solutions and services within the GeneXus community will be also launched in the Web, before the date of the Encounter.  This will generate opportunities and new business relationships. This will also make it possible to arrange meetings with potential business partners in advance.

Michael Culver, Microsoft Manager of the .NET Program and the Visual Studio Team, will be one of the keynote lecturers.  Culver will introduce the Microsoft's .NET Platform and will analyze the business opportunities for customers and solutions developers offered by the third generation of XML based Web applications and services.  Culver provides support to the ISVs and .COM companies, early adopters of the new ISVs technology, such as ARTech, Autodesk and Macromedia.

Another keynote lecturer will be Doug Fulmer’s, IBM's World Wide Segment Manager for Tools & Middleware - iSeries.  He will present the new AD technologies for the iSeries server and the future of the platform. He will also explain how GeneXus and other tools encompass his plans for applications development.

In addition to the already mentioned participants and some other ones, ARTech Directors, Engineers Breogán Gonda and Nicolás Jodal will take part in the keynotes of the XII GeneXus International Encounter.   The former will provide his personal vision of technology future, and the latter will lecture on GeneXus development in the short and medium term.

You can already register through the web (www.genexus.com/evento2001) and make hotel reservations. You can also make your queries on the already confirmed lectures for the XII Meeting

This program is being constantly updated as the lectures are confirmed.
