GeneXus X EV1CTP2 90x120 28.10.08

GeneXus X Evolution 1 CTP 2 is online

Faster, more productive, more generators, and more teamwork: RPG, .Net and Java for Windows and .Net Mobile generators, GeneXus X Server and more!.
The release of GeneXus X Evolution 1 CTP 2, announced by Artech Vice President Nicolás Jodal at the GeneXus USA Event 2008, is a very important step forward in the GeneXus X Evolution 1 roadmap.

The CTP2 of GeneXus X Evolution 1 is the first release that includes RPG, .Net and Java for Windows and .Net Mobile generators. Also, applications can be developed with these new generators even though they are not feature-complete yet.

The conversion process now supports Windows and iSeries applications, and has been successfully tested on many laboratory and customer Knowledge Bases (now our efforts will be focused on Knowledge Bases that have evolved since, for example, version 6.0).

CTP 2 also includes a GeneXus X Server major release, with added support for serving more than one Knowledge Base and Knowledge Base Versions.

Performance in CTP 2 has been greatly improved. Parallel specification and generation, and optimization of several generation algorithms have significantly reduced specification/generation times, especially on multiprocessor machines.

We invite you to ptryr GeneXus X Evolution 1 CTP 2 and be part of the process to release Beta 1, sharing your experience with the Community on the Forum.
