How To Article: GXportal :: Publishing contents from other websites through RSS

RSS has gained popularity as a tool for publishing Web content and nowadays users have many ways to “consume” contents in this format. With this standard, we can import third-party content into our own website.
Basically, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML format used to expose contents that are frequently updated in the site, which gives its users the option to get up to date on the changes through RSS readers with no need to visit the website.

Most web browsers currently offer ways to subscribe to these readers; for instance, below we will see how Firefox displays our blog's RSS content.
