The new versions of these ARTech products include key features for the end
user, stated Gerardo Wisosky, International Partner Relations Manager for
ARTech.
It's worth noting that they facilitate performing queries by defining query
parameters, so that when the user executes it, parameter values are
automatically requested.
Security has been tightened in GXquery 2.0 regarding the information to be
queried, by allowing user restrictions not only on attributes but also on their
specific values.
Integration with other applications has been enhanced because they now offer
support for the open source database PostgreSQL. In addition, GXquery 2.0 allows
you to query databases that were not created with GeneXus.
When developing GXquery 2.0, special care was given to the requirements set
by Software Houses, added Wisosky.
