Fierro Vignoli SA (Fivisa) is a wholesale and retail
Uruguayan company that sells lighting, ironmongery and electricity products and
builds industrial electric panels.
Sistemas Integrales de Gestión Empresarial (SIGE) was
successfully installed in Fivisa on September 2005. Since then, it has succeeded
in concerting and optimizing the company operation. Besides, this has allowed
the company to obtain and process information in an integrated way through the
product datawarehouse.
SIGE was installed on a Client/Server and WEB platform
with Java and Microsoft SQL Server, and is daily used by 200 users in 150
workstations, 90 of which are located in the headquarters and 60 in eight
branches distributed throughout the country.
SIGE is an ERP used by large and medium sized companies
such as 'Suministros Gráficos', a Chilean paper distributor that incorporated
SIGE and is using it after having worked with SAP.
