This contest is open to all beta testers of GeneXus X Evolution 2.
The deadline for registration is July 10, while projects may be submitted until August 31, 2011.
Like every year, acknowledgements will be awarded at the GeneXus Meeting, which this year will take place on September 12 - 14.
Contest stages
The contest includes two stages: the registration process through web forms and the assessment of proposals by Artech’s members, who will be contacting participants to discuss the scope and possibilities of proposals so as to start developing the project.
After the project’s kick-off, participants will be entitled to all the benefits and resources available to beta testers, as well as to direct communication with the contest’s organizers to obtain general support and to clear all possible doubts.
The contest will be closed on August 31, when applications will be delivered (or published if applicable) for evaluation.
Prizes: Community Choice Award and GeneXus Team Award
There will be two winners: one chosen by the Community and a second one selected by the Artech team. The first will be awarded the Community Choice Award, consisting of a Samsung Galaxy S II, and the winner of the GeneXus Team Award will receive an Apple iPad 2, an Apple Smart Cover and a GeneXus Kit to continue developing his/her ideas for one whole year.
The five top-ranking applications will be presented at the XXI GeneXus Meeting (September 12, 13 and 14, 2011), and their creators will be awarded the corresponding diplomas and prizes.
