More Money Transfer is a company specialized in fund
transfers among family members, with operations in Europe, the United States,
Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Ecuador. The
company was in need of a system to automate payments and money transfers, and
chose GeneXus to develop an application that uses Web Services for digital money
transfers in real time, ensuring data safety and access by concurrent
users.
"The system is run at the company's headquarters with five
concurrent users, and all agents from different countries connect to the system
through Web Services," explained Sergio Ferreira, IT manager at More Money
Transfer. The system is developed with GeneXus 7.5, Visual Basic generator and
uses SQL Server as DBMS.
At present, the system is the foundation for the business
running and operation of a company that seeks to be a regional leader. "Without
this system, it would be impossible to control the money transfers received at
the time of request, know the status of each transfer, and make instant
transfers from any country," pointed out Rafael Ubilla, General Manager at More
Money Transfer.
