It is with the greatest pleasure that I extend an invitation to all of you to join us at the XI GeneXus Users International Meeting scheduled to take place at the Hotel Radisson Victoria Plaza's Convention Center in Montevideo from September 11-13th.
This is the Internet's year! Some years ago, the market started very shyly, broaching the Internet with curiosity; however reserved, many users placed small sites on the ‘air’, based on static pages, which were developed manually. Then sites that combined those static pages with some dynamic ones appeared, some even accessing a database.
Many people thought of Internet applications as something completely different, isolated. The reality, however, is that almost every enterprise needs systems that At ARTech, we follow the market and have continually developed leading edge technology. Now we are in the final testing period of the new GeneXus version that contains, among other very important elements, the Web Objects that represent the combination of the best of two worlds: the graphic world with an impressive editor. This holds great possibilities where one can introduce sophisticated graphic elements developed with the industry’s leading products and the intelligence for accessing a GeneXus database.
But, at the same time, we are adding a new option to the classical static and/or dynamic pages: static pages automatically generated at the right moment: in many cases we will show static pages (based in efficiency), but we will develop the pages automatically and will refresh them automatically, with GeneXus, when data changes deem it necessary.
At the Meeting, participants will be able to see some of the great portals developed with GeneXus and discuss their development.
XML has become a standard as a language of auto-descriptive messages. XML is turning into one the awesome tools of B2B applications. During the event, we will see the special possibilities that GeneXus offers regarding XML.
As always, it will be a phenomenal opportunity to get to know and discuss User’s needs and experiences, as well as those of other Software Houses. Additionally, ARTech will announce plans and developments of the main manufacturers on essential topics.
