GeneXus 14th International Meeting will take place from
June 14-16 at the Radisson Montevideo Victoria Plaza Hotel, in Montevideo,
Uruguay.
GeneXus International Meeting is the main gathering of the
GeneXus Community, as well as a major software event in Uruguay. The 14th
Meeting will be the biggest event so far, and will gather users, clients,
prospects and ARTech's business and strategic partners in Montevideo. At the
meeting, we expect to have 3,000 participants and more than 100 sessions
(including business and technical presentations, labs, etc.).
Presentations for the GeneXus 14th International Meeting
will be selected among the proposals received at our Web Site by April 15th.
ARTech will choose the presentations according to their content and schedule
availability, giving priority to those that involve the most recent versions of
GeneXus tools. This year, nine new topic areas have been added
for technical or testimonial presentations to choose from:
1. Strategy and management: Business and
topics of general interest
2. Mobility: Presentations related to
mobile platforms
3. Integration: Systems, Web services and
XML integration
4. Application development for the 21st
Century: Windows and Web applications and solutions
5. Project management best practices:
Development methodologies and project management best practices for developing
with GeneXus
6. Workflow: Application and solution
development with workflow
7. BI: Business Intelligence
Solutions
8. Reporting: Reporting
Solutions
9. Portal Builder: Portal creation and
(front end) application integration with GXPortal
Opportunities to submit commercial presentations (on
products and solutions) are part of the call for the Meeting's speakers and
sponsors, and will be included under topic number 10: "ARTech's Partners
Solutions".
On the other hand, and as usual, each conference will
address specific target audiences:
a) Technicians: Targeted at developers.
b) System Managers: Targeted at system
managers and project leaders
c) Area Managers: Targeted at functional
managers (Operations, Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, etc.)
d) End users: Targeted at end users and
solution distributors
