Business in Ecuador: Probrisa chooses GCI

Probrisa S.A, an Ecuadorian company that has worked for over 20 years in the fishing industry and in marine hardware, chose the ERP GCI of INSIS as the solution to the multiple demands of their business.

Insisec, INSIS representative in Ecuador, will implement GCI in this important company and will offer support for the solution.

PROBRISA's decision to study the solutions offered by the market was driven by the company's internal information requirements, together with its need to manage its steady growth and improve the administration of its wineries by integrating its 3 branches. They searched for a flexible, parametrizable, robust solution that would enable them to know the company's profitability, the real costs of the operation at the national level and the sales figures by product and geographic area, as well as to plan purchases and imports and to manage credit control accordingly.

"The previous system set stringent limits on what we could do. Improving our control and management of information was a strategic decision. The experience shown by GCI, as well as the consulting services for the system implantation showing a commitment with identifying and integrating our company's real processes, allow us to trust INSIS' GCI solution," pointed Max de Vries from Probrisa.

Esther Nin, INSIS Commercial Director, told us about it: "GCI is an integrated system (ERP), developed by INSIS with GeneXus, which is used by over 2,000 users in eight Latin American countries. The system includes features for accounting, budget control, finance, sales, logistics, purchase, production and business intelligence. GCI has been customized to the commercial practices and general regulations in force in Ecuador, where Insisec offers local support. This is undoubtedly another success of our local representative."
