Training.genexus.com is the new website where Community members will find everything they need to improve their skills. What is the design of this new portal based on?
-It’s a portal that, in addition to being oriented towards self-study with videos, has been designed with a strong focus on usability, as a way to help the user get acquainted with the large number and variety of audiovisual contents published.
-What types of videos can be found there?Self-study videos are classified in three types: Overview, Tutorial and How to.
1)
Overview; in a few minutes, the main features of our products are presented in addition to short, educational demos.
2)
Tutorial is the section where you’ll find videos that describe a certain feature in a more or less self-contained way and with different degrees of theory and practice. These videos are grouped in big topic areas.
3) In the
How to section, you’ll find step-by-step instructions to solve specific problems.
In all cases, every time you select a video, other videos with related content are displayed so you can look further into the various aspects involved.
http://www.training.genexus.com/ And last, but not least, it should be noted that most of these videos are included in some of our courses. Thus, we have also uploaded our self-study courses to the new website, where they will have specific pages with a side menu that will allow you to view, online and in sequence, the video corresponding to each topic included in the course and even download the entire material.
-In addition to videos, what other contents are offered in the new portal?

All the information on courses and certifications. In the new website you’ll also find the complete list of
course choices (classroom, combined classroom/online, online, in addition to the self-study mode that I mentioned before) that will allow you to receive training on GeneXus and the GeneXus products (GXflow, GXportal, GXplorer and GXserver).
- You can also check what academic institutions are certified to offer GeneXus courses (
GeneXus Academic Partners). Likewise, you'll find a
certifications menu — these are the official certifications developers are awarded by Artech according to their demonstrated GeneXus skills. Here, you can also find the list of recently certified technicians.
Among other topics of interest, and more specifically for the GeneXus Community in Uruguay, training.genexus.com offers information on
Scholarships, which offer work and training opportunities for Engineering university students with an outstanding academic record.
