Highlighted project
The project that has been highlighted in the GXOpen's main page this month is called BarCode Server; it was created by Franja (user), and it is a WebService that receives a string as a parameter and generates "out of the blue"(in memory) the jpg corresponding to the bar code from that particular string. The concept is that the bar code font just needs to be installed in the web server that hosts the service, which enables its smooth utilization in the web. The generated image always uses black on white colors.

Moreover, it is now possible to try the consumption of GXOpen projects that include webservices, before downloading them. Among such projects, for instance, there is an on-line translator .
Recommending projects
All the projects included in GXOpen may be recommended to an e-mail address from the main page of each project. In order to do that, it is necessary to have a valid e-mail address in the GXOpen user information.
