III GeneXus Meeting in Mexico Begins

Everything is ready at the Hotel Nikko for the III GeneXus Meeting in Mexico to be held next Wednesday. Please check the meeting schedule and register in the networking system. We're looking forward to seeing you!

Dear friends,

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the III GeneXus Meeting in Mexico, to be held on Wednesday, November 10, at the Hotel Nikko, in Mexico City.

At this meeting, you will receive information on ARTech's activities in Mexico, and the new developments and trends of GeneXus and the market. We will get a better understanding of the needs of the GeneXus community in Mexico.

The information industry is going through a transitional period worldwide, mainly because companies need to solve the manual development inefficiency problem. Packages were the traditional solution, but in recent years outsourcing of a great part of the development, which shifts to low salaries countries, has taken over.

This is only a partial solution. How can technology provide solutions? What can GeneXus do? How can we get ready for the paradigm change?

ARTech is pleased to confirm its trend towards the establishment of subsidiaries and/or joint ventures with local entrepreneurs in the major markets. In addition to our offices in Chicago, Mexico City and Sao Paulo, we now have GeneXus Japan Corp. in Kyoto, a joint venture with important local businesses. At the same time, without a formal subsidiary yet, we continue working successfully in China. We offer support to the whole country with our local staff working from the offices of our Chinese business partner in Shanghai.

Regarding technology, we are working in two new GeneXus versions. Each of them adds important features, is user-friendlier and significantly increases productivity. We have great news for the rest of this year and for 2005.

As you can see, there is plenty to discuss. A key element in our events is taking advantage of the GeneXus community's synergy: Let's go for it!

Best regards,

Breogán Gonda
ARTech's President
