XVIII Encuentro Internacional GeneXus 90x90

Opening speech by Breogán Gonda

The President of Artech opened the XVIII GeneXus Meeting with three new developments: GeneXus X Evolution 1, GeneXus Server and features related to object comparison in KBs.

The release of GeneXus X, Breogán said, is a huge step forward, as is the Evolution 1 of GeneXus X (www.genexus.com/evolution), which incorporates Win generators in addition to the Web generators it already had.

Leaving aside these new features, the President of Artech encouraged the GeneXus Community to move their applications and base their new developments "on current platforms to evolve with and take advantage of GeneXus X."

Gonda also announced two important innovations: GXServer, which basically will help large installations that have many developers and Change Defender, which will give software houses that build products a great advantage in relation to the market's big players.
