Control of versions of these documents and editing rights
over them is automatically performed. GXflow also incorporates applications that
enable users to interact with documents.
Through the document management feature, GXflow allows
associating and propagating documents through various business process tasks.
For each task, you can define the documents to work with as well as the
operations that may or should be performed on each document.
An important feature of GXflow document management is
that, for each document, you can kept the entire trace of modifications occurred
throughout the process as well as information on what users made what changes
and when. It also controls automatically that only one user makes modifications
on a document at a certain time. Document definition and association to tasks is
done in GXPM, while the GXflow client provides applications that enable users to
perform operations on documents such as: creation, modification, deletion and
reading of documents.
