Over 100 guests showed up at the event organized by HST
and Syndeo in the city of Salta. On that occasion, Armin Bachmann, ARTech's
GeneXus .NET Support Manager, presented the main characteristics of GeneXus 8.0,
and Enrique Altobelli, partner at Syndeo, showed a Pocket PC application that
was developed with this new version.
"These meetings bring us, the GeneXus community, closer
together. I support them and invite them to generate regional forums to interact
and exchange experience or knowledge that help our community grow," said Rolando
Cruz, from the Jujuy Medical College. He also commented, when the event was
ending, on his satisfaction for having participated in the launching of this new
version in the city of Salta.
From the total number of people who attended the event,
more than 45% plan to migrate to GeneXus 8.0 in the coming months, informed
Gisela Bertelli, from HST distribution channels.
