GeneXus Developer Library (GXDL) (a library that centralizes updated technical information on GeneXus), and GeneXus Quick Search (GXQS) (an Internet browser that allows quick access to information), are two of the tools offered by ARTech to the GeneXus community.
GXDL has incorporated new information (total help for using GeneXus), which is now also better organized. The GeneXus library used to have a single index, which has been recently organized by thematic modules that may be individually downloaded according to the users' needs.
The components are:
SAC- tips, incidents, etc.
GeneXus Help A GeneXus Help File with information on commands, functions, etc. (information for using GeneXus).
GeneXus- Technical information on GeneXus (release notes, technical papers, manuals, examples, etc.).
GXPlorer- Technical information on GXPlorer
GXQuery- Technical information on GeneXus QUERY
GXPublic- Technical information on GXPublic
Tools- Technical information on tools (GX Setup Wizard, GX Data View Generator, etc.)
GXDL can be accessed off-line by installing the above-mentioned components in the PC or on-line.
Thanks to the GXDL's design, components can be added or updated without the need to download the information that they had already retrieved all over again.
Moreover, the GeneXus browser (GXQS) which has been introduced as a bar in the Internet browser allows users to browse through information within the GXDL GeneXus Library. In the future, the browsing is expected to take users to ARTech's information site as well.
