Manuel Valverde of DMR, who opened the meeting, stated in
his usual light spirit:
Nicolás Jodal, our vice-president, talked about the new
trends of the market from a general point of view and of the new features to be
included in future GeneXus versions.
Juan José Almazán of Mapfre and his open and direct speech
cost me a cigar -the smoking type- because he said that GeneXus is the best tool
in the world, well, I happily paid for it.
Carmela Martínez participated for IBM and Mauricio Ulargui
for Microsoft. These two companies are helping us everyday, for which we are
very grateful.
We also want to thank Antonio Mangado for his speech, in
which, as I commented on stage, it was not clear whether he praised GeneXus, but
it was fun and provided plenty food for thought.
Finally, it is important to point out: The use of GeneXus
in Spain is increasing, slowly, but still increasing, we have new customers
every year. We hope to count on your support in the future.
