Intranet 2.0 in the Rate Regulation Department of the Sunass in Lima, Peru

The Rate Regulation Department (Gerencia de Regulación Tarifaria, GRT) of the National Superintendence of Sanitation Services (Sunass) of Lima has deployed its new and functional Intranet 2.0 built with GXportal 4.5, applying Enterprise 2.0 tools and Web 2.0 functionalities.
From now on, the GRT staff can access the user-friendly Intranet to read internal information necessary to perform their daily tasks, as they have access to documents, news and an integrated Event Calendar application that will help them schedule their internal activities.
An important feature of the Intranet is that it makes it possible to access and update data in an agile and easy manner. It also provides blogs that will enable GRT members to enter articles, suggestions, comments and notes that will help keep them informed and in line with the internal news of the GRT.
In addition, the Intranet includes a Wiki that creates a space to discuss work-related topics to increase the degree of collaboration and interaction among staff members.
The implementation was carried out by AB&AB Tecnologías de la Información SAC of Lima, Peru –a company with experience in the creation of portals–, meeting the main requirements of the client while taking advantage of the features provided by GXportal 4.5.
