Gaci Group, an Argentine developer and marketer of
comprehensive management and administration software GACI (ERP), developed with
GeneXus, was chosen by Laboratorios Craveri to implement GACI ERP for the
management of its Administration, Logistics, Distribution and Manufacturing
cycles.
Laboratorios Craveri has over 100 years in the
pharmaceutical market, its mission focuses on "researching, developing and
supplying top quality and technological development products to improve health
and life quality". Their product lines cover cephalalgia treatments,
cardiovascular risk factors, blood hypertension, diabetes complications, urinary
and gynecological conditions, as well as a new ophthalmologic line.
In 2004, Laboratorios Craveri acquired its fourth
industrial plant, with an estimated investment of $3,000,000 and incorporated
30% more personnel to serve production needs, calculated in 6,600,000 finished
units. In this expansion environment, it needed to sustain business growth with
the cutting-edge technology management tools.
Alter evaluating several products, Laboratorios Cravery
chose the proposal presented by GACI Group. The project was divided in two
consecutive stages with a total duration of six months. The first stage
corresponds to Administrative Cycles, Accounting, Financial, Purchases,
Inventories and Sales. On the other hand, Stage II includes the Cycles of
Production Planning and Manufacture.
GACI ERP applications developed with GeneXus, run on an
Intel server with Windows 2000 and DBMS SQL 2000.
