In that environment a substantial difference was confirmed
between Windows 2003 Server and Windows 2000 Server, reflected in an important
improvement in performance, even when using smaller equipment than that used for
production.
NET Solution Center is a work environment where companies
specialized in software development can access first level resources to improve
and empower their products. It was opened on June 15th by Microsoft Uruguay,
ARTech and Zonamerica with the support of Hewlett Packard. The .NET Solution
Center laboratory operates in Zonamerica with the support and assistance of
specialized technicians from Microsoft and ARTech.
Several companies have developed scalability and
performance tests in this environment and several research projects with Early
Adopters of the technology have been developed. Companies interested in
presenting research projects and/or performing tests at the .NET Solution Center
