First of all, we would like to reaffirm GeneXus Consulting
and ARTech Group's commitment to this program and to thank the support received
during the launching of the Program in the last GeneXus Users International
Meeting.
We're pleased to inform you that two forums will be
launched -Commercial and Technical- to discuss topics such as: Technical
Architecture, Functional Scope, Integration Mechanisms, Commercial Policies,
Framework for Agents Participation, etc. Please send us via e-mail the names and
e-addresses of the subscribers to each forum.
In addition, this week we have started technical
activities with some partners to provide vertical solutions within the suite.
This activity consists of theoretical-practical workshops that introduce the
methodology and tools to be used in the conversion and integration of KBs and
the construction of WEB applications using the K2B standard.
It is a 4-day workshop, with theory and an exercise with
the objective of converting a small Module of each partner's KB.
Although only two groups of companies that have made
commercial agreements with us are participating at this initial stage, we plan
to go on with this activity as other companies become interested and close
agreements with us in the future.
The companies participating at this stage are:

- SIGLO XXI (GLM S.A.)
- GACI Group
- MAP (MSB Argentina)
We intend to continue working in the technical and
commercial aspects simultaneously. For that purpose, we will contact you to
define the relationship framework with each partner according to roles they will
assume in the K2B Program.
We are also pleased to inform that, thanks to an agreement
between the University ORT of Montevideo and the consulting company UTE-Conex,
two graduate projects are being carried out by students of the University and
under the functional and technical guidance of UTE and GeneXus Consulting. The
projects aim to provide two possible components of the suite:
- Project Management System
- Management Control System
We are planning general and specific activities for some
suite components in the next weeks. We'll keep you informed.
