To access the agenda program you have just to login in the GeneXus site (Personal Agenda ). There, you will be able to schedule a lecture or a meeting with another person or to keep time free for other activities.
From the program , with the "schedule" option, you can select lectures of your interest which later you will be able to remove, using the "delete" option. When you schedule a lecture in the agenda, the time when the same will be held will remain booked. Besides, to avoid meetings overlapping, there is the option to mark "non-available" times in the personal agenda and keep them free for other activities.
But the option to schedule activities and lectures is not the only available one; in the agenda, it is also possible to coordinate meetings with other attendants, according to the topics of your interest, or directly with a specific person. Each person registered for the event has the possibility to define topics in the Web which will be the guide for meetings scheduling among those with similar interests. In addition to searching by the topic of your interest, the system allows you to make searches by name, so that you can find the person you would like to meet with.
To schedule a new meeting you must first define the applicants profile (if it is the first meeting to define). Afterwards, you must select the person you want to meet with, and lastly, you must define the time for the meeting. Once these steps are completed, the system verifies if the proposed time is available in the personal agenda. If it is so, an e-mail applying for the meeting is automatically sent to the other person, and he/she can accept or dismiss the meeting.
The applicant will receive an e-mail telling him/her whether the meeting was accepted or not.
Those who prefer not to be available for meetings applications can change the preferences, de-marking the corresponding link. It is to be pointed out that, if you are not available, you will not be able to schedule meetings with other attendants either.
You will also have the option of printing your personal agenda or send it via e-mail. It will be always available in the Web.
