The first GeneXus users’ meeting in Puebla, Mexico, was a complete success! On Saturday 20th of January at 5:00 pm in NUBA, the Puebla Community got together to talk about their experiences working with GeneXus. The effort was worth it, because everything happened as at a real friends’ meeting.
One of the high points of the meeting was the screening of two videos, one showing version 3.0 of GeneXus and the other the main features of GeneXus Rocha. According to Moises Vera, one of the main organizers of the meeting, “the 'retro' video caused expressions of amazement, something like ‘we’re glad those times are gone’; the one of the Rocha version gave us the chance to realize the new professional commitment required to take full advantage of GeneXus technology in order to obtain better applications and, of course, to benefit those who use our systems”.
Eduardo Aguera won the book “Practical GeneXus Guide, Knowledge Based Development” written by Professor Daniel Marquez Lisboa and published by Grupo Magro publishers, which was sent by Artech and raffled among the participants of the meeting.
Finally, a second meeting has been arranged for March and then another in May, with the intention of holding bimonthly meetings. Our congratulations to Moises Vera, Luis Caso, Anuar Aguilar, Jose De Leon, Moises Flores, Eduardo Aguera and all those who could not attend for some reason, for the success of the first Puebla users’ meeting.
We take the chance to remind you that the GeneXus Users’ Community of Cuenca, Ecuador, has already fixed the date for their first meeting. It will be held on March 7th at the Sala Social of the Camara de Comercio de Cuenca, from 9:00 am. For contact, questions and to confirm attendance, write to Daniel Coellar.
