Upgrade #2 of GeneXus X Evolution 1 is available.
This upgrade introduces performance and usability optimizations, which are included in some IDE components such as import, build, team development and comparer.
The information contained in Knowledge Bases can now be compressed, which helps significantly reduce the size of the associated database (the .MDF of the KB).
As for new features related to the language, U2 now enables you to combine conditions of the “where <..> in” type with others.
Regarding generators, it is now possible to generate for Ruby 1.9, which greatly improves performance of applications generated by this generator. As for .NET, in Upgrade 1 it was possible for webservices to be based on the native implementation of the .net framework. The new feature included in upgrade 2 is that now they can be based on WCF.
