WW PATTERN: When less is more!

Ricardo Oliveira of Brazil writes in his blog about patterns and GeneXus X Evolution 1.
PATTERN WW, Quando menos é MAIS!

Lately, I haven't been satisfied with Artech's WW pattern, but I'm definitely satisfied with the SDK of GX X EVL1, which allows us to create our own Pattern.
Watch the changes I've made to Artech's original pattern.

This pattern generates only one object in the instance; it is faster during the Build All and, in short, it doesn't generate unnecessary objects.

A simple instance, with just the selection grid, no tabs... speeds up the default application during the builds/backup.
In the selection attributes, only the PK and Description attributes are added.

Automatic generation of field-to-field auditing rules; those who do it manually with GeneXus know how troublesome it is.
Here it will be easy to automatically implement the well-known Multi_company (&Comp_Cod) fields in all the grid transactions/conditions, making the patterns of beginners automatic.
That's right... Now we will be able to make many changes to GeneXus' behavior. We only need Artech to provide a step-by-step manual to access the model properties, GX object properties, generation of KB objects at runtime, search of KB objects, and access to the output window.
I know that we have the Assembla open source projects (which I found very useful), GXopen, Wiki, and SDK samples. This will be a big step. However, the best thing would be if Artech released a reference manual of the internal methods, properties and tables of the GeneXus KB.
This way, we would be able to implement many things such as import/export of KB knowledge, just like our BI metadata systems, BSC, GIS integration.
This would make it a lot easier to customize GeneXus to our needs.
Warm regards to everyone and have a great year!
