The most downloaded free iPhone application designed by a teenager. |
A 14-year old creates #1 free iPhone application. According to Eliax.com, the free application is a game programmed by Robert Nay, called Bubble Ball, which has been downloaded more than 1 million times in its first two weeks in the App Store for iPhone. In regards to the game and the opportunities that the world of applications brings along, Eliax says: “It is actually a re-design, yet another game among many other similar games where the objective is simple to take a ball from a start point to a goal, with all types of physical obstacles along the way. In other words, the game is not that original, but the simplicity in its implementation and the good design of the different levels (in addition to the fact that it is a free application known throughout the Internet as the one whose author was a 14-year old) were certainly the aspects that drove it to the top. So, as you can see, anyone with a little extra dedication could do wonderful things, even by recycling old ideas into new forms”. |
