GeneXus Enterprise AI is now Globant Enterprise AI
October 17, 2024, marks a milestone in our history: GeneXus Enterprise AI evolves and officially adopts the name Globant Enterprise AI.
We are pleased to announce that GeneXus Enterprise AI is entering a new phase. From now on, this agnostic platform, designed for companies to adopt, integrate, and harness the power of Large Language Models (LLMs) in a controlled manner, begins a new chapter under the name Globant Enterprise AI.
This product, which began as an internal tool to optimize processes, has proven GeneXus' ability to respond quickly, efficiently, and innovatively to the complex challenges that businesses face amid market changes, such as those we are witnessing now with this new technological revolution.
Now, Globant Enterprise AI is not only a leading product within GeneXus but has also become a key element in Globant's strategy, solidifying its leadership in the intelligent transformation of companies worldwide.
It’s important to note that Globant Enterprise AI will continue to be technically led by the GeneXus team, with the support of Globant.
“From the start, our goal was to create a broadly adopted solution, both within and outside the GeneXus community. Today, we see our product being used in numerous Globant projects, becoming a key AI tool. This name change is a recognition of our work, its strategic importance to Globant, and the value Globant Enterprise AI is delivering to companies worldwide and across various sectors,” says Eugenio García, Product Manager of Globant Enterprise AI.
1. Improvements to the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) system
We’ve optimized Generative AI to provide more contextualized and precise responses, improving knowledge retrieval efficiency.
2. Support for new LLMs
Globant Enterprise AI now includes support for the most advanced models on the market, such as NVIDIA (Nemotron) and Meta (Llama-3.1 instruct, Llama-3.2). We’ve also added support for Groq and Vertex AI, ooffering more options for creating custom models.
3. Support for new vector databases
It’s now possible to work with Redis, MongoDB Atlas, and PG Vector, expanding the options for vectorizing large volumes of information and knowledge that are currently found in unstructured documents.
4. Enhanced Playground
We’ve improved file management and added new options for handling conversation history, providing a more organized and efficient experience.
5. Embeddings API
We’ve introduced a new endpoint to obtain custom embeddings, ideal for enhancing applications that rely on semantic search or content recommendations.
6. Multimodal Integration
Take advantage of the multimodal capabilities of LLMs to process not only text but also audio, video, and images, opening new opportunities for process automation and creating richer and more personalized user experiences.
7. Compatibility with new NVIDIA platforms
We’ve incorporated support for new NVIDIA models, allowing for more complex solutions to be deployed in projects that demand high performance and precision, all while ensuring cost efficiency and scalability.
For the latest updates, we invite you to visit the Coming Next page of Globant Enterprise AI.
The course has an approximate duration of 8 hours and includes content that is updated as the product evolves.
It is aimed at individuals with a technical background (though not necessarily GeneXus developers) who want to learn how to integrate AI assistants into enterprise solutions. Basic knowledge of Prompt Engineering, REST API usage, and the Postman API platform is recommended for testing and integrating the various APIs into developments.
Globant Enterprise AI is a platform designed to help companies incorporate Generative AI and advanced technologies in an agile, efficient, and model- and provider-independent manner. Thanks to Globant's full adoption, it is now used in countless global projects, both within the GeneXus community and in other sectors.
