The official launch of GeneXus Next—the latest edition of the platform—, use cases and success stories from Globant Enterprise AI, and the unveiling of the new GeneXus logo stood out among the highlights shared during GeneXus Live 2024.
Last Tuesday, November 12, we celebrated the fourth edition of GeneXus Live, GeneXus' most prominent online event.
The keynote, broadcasted live worldwide via our website and social media, featured Nicolás Jodal, Co-founder and CEO of GeneXus, joined by some of the organization’s leaders: Gastón Milano (CTO), Gisela Bertelli (CBO), Armin Bachmann (Product Manager), Eugenio García (Product Manager of Globant Enterprise AI) and Sebastián Arriada, CIO of Globant.

This edition is GeneXus’ response to the AI era, transforming not only how software is developed but also what kind of software is created. Built from the ground up, it caters to future user needs, facilitates a smooth transition into this AI-driven era for the GeneXus community, and prepares users for the future ahead.
By enabling the modeling of assistants and agents, GeneXus Next allows for designing chat interfaces and natural language searches, creating smoother user-system interactions and business processes driven by intelligent agents. The platform seamlessly integrates technologies like Globant Enterprise AI and vector databases, among others.
“GeneXus Next excels in understanding business aspects, a foundational trait of GeneXus since its inception. The more knowledge you provide GeneXus, the better solutions it generates. This edition introduces unprecedented power,” explains Armin Bachmann.

Integrating Globant Enterprise AI (formerly GeneXus Enterprise AI) with GeneXus Next unlocks new possibilities for businesses seeking customizable, secure solutions, either cloud-based or on-premises.
Globant Enterprise AI is an agnostic platform offering unparalleled flexibility, integrating seamlessly with any language model (LLM) while ensuring traceability, control, and cost management of LLM consumption.
“Globant Enterprise AI empowers us to enhance business applications independently of specific LLM models, avoiding vendor lock-in while maintaining full control over resource investment. It also enables end-users to leverage knowledge from unstructured documents, analyze their own data, and access information via existing enterprise APIs securely,” explains Eugenio García.
