Nicolás Jodal: The most reputable business leader in Uruguay
For the third consecutive year, Nicolás Jodal, CEO and co-founder of GeneXus, has been ranked first in the Merco Empresas y Líderes Uruguay 2023/24 rankings. Martín Migoya, CEO of Globant, was also highlighted among the most reputable leaders. Additionally, both Globant and GeneXus were listed in the top five most valued tech companies in the country.
With a score of 10,000 points, Nicolás Jodal, CEO and co-founder of GeneXus, was recognized as the top leader in the Merco Empresas y Líderes Uruguay 2023/24, ranking, published by the Monitor Empresarial de Reputación Corporativa (Merco).
The Merco Líderes ranking, which also features Martín Migoya, CEO of Globant, highlights the influence of leaders who have transformed their respective industries.
In the tech sector, Globant stood out as the company with the best reputation in Uruguay, followed by Google, Apple, Microsoft and GeneXus. This recognition of both Globant and GeneXus, as companies as well as their leaders, underscores the positive impact of their alliance on technological progress and their influence on the global stage.
Since 2000, the Merco ranking has evaluated corporate reputation across Ibero-America and has become the first globally audited system. The ranking process and results are independently verified by KPMG in compliance with the ISAE 3000 standard. Evaluation criteria are publicly available at merco.info/uy.
