FATEC is a state-owned School of Technology connected to
the Paulo Souza Center. It offers the population of the Jundiaí region a
Graduate Course on Information Technology oriented to business management.
Based on the agreement entered by ARTech and FATEC, a
GeneXus Training Center will be created to perform special courses and projects
that will enable students to be certified in GeneXus technology. The center will
be coordinated by three ARTech-certified members of the institute's teaching
staff.
According to the principal of FATEC Jundiaí, professor
Douglas Hamilton de Oliveira, they expect to train 80 students per year in the
use of GeneXus. "This tool is crucial for our institution, not only for
educational purposes, but also in terms of software development," he
added.
Gerardo Wisosky, manager of ARTech's International
Solution Partners, said "we are very grateful to Miguel Barella of Zensys
Informática e Tecnologia for introducing us to Fatec. We expect excellent
results of this agreement that will result in better options for customers
looking for qualified GeneXus professionals."
According to Wisosky, the widespread use of GeneXus and
the training of professionals in its use will support software houses and our
distributors in developing the GeneXus market in Brazil.
"GeneXus perfectly meets the needs of professionals and
companies working directly with software development. We are sure that this
agreement with Fatec will be yet another example of the potential GeneXus has to
offer to the highly important Brazilian market."
