Since they are now entering the Technological Program stage, Advansys is currently focusing on the conversion of Cars Solutions to a full Web version - with GeneXus X Evolution 1. Alejandro Myszka enthusiastically explains, “
In this respect and based on the new full Web version, we want to offer SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions, so that any car repair shop or spare parts store only needs an Internet connection in order to use our systems.”
Going beyond the crisis
A company such as Advansys must overcome numerous obstacles. As stated by Myszka, “
The main and most significant issue is the current situation of the automotive industry in the world market - our main target. Although we know this situation is temporary, small and medium-size companies like us have been hit hard.” Within this context, the PES offers an opportunity to go beyond the crisis. “
It mainly means that we will be able to use our resources and knowledge more efficiently and focus on improving the product. It means we’ll be able to delegate some tasks such as commercial matters in the hands of IBM and ATKIO's sales channels and to use Artech's channels as well. It also means we’ll be able to work with the support and supervision of Artech in the conversion of the product to its new full Web version.”
Finally, the next stage will comprise the production of a professional Business Plan with the participation of Endeavour’s advisers. Thereby, with the help of a mentor, the company will develop a global marketing plan for the product developed.
