The Universidad Latina of Panama received ARTech's
President Breogán Gonda, creator of GeneXus, in its headquarters to sign a
technical collaboration agreement between both organizations.
One of the agreement's main objectives is the creation of
a commercial laboratory, "Auxilio TecnoLatina" where researchers, professors and
students will develop applications and provide support to micro and small
businesses to implement and manage business oriented, intelligent information
systems.
The commercial laboratory has state-of-the-art technology
and GeneXus licenses donated by ARTech, including Development Environment,
Business Intelligence, Businesses Processes Automation and E-market Dynamic
Portals. Thanks to this agreement, international consultants will train
professors and students of Universidad Latina on the use of these
tools.
Within the framework of this agreement, the IV Technical
Conference was held in the Auditorium of Universidad Latina. Local and foreign
speakers participated in the event, together with special guests,
representatives from technology, information and communication companies. This
agreement keeps Universidad Latina of Panama ahead in the implementation of
state-of-the-art technology.
