The beta testing period continues to be extended to give Community members the opportunity to develop applications for Smart Devices and lead the way in relation to the big opportunities created around these new devices.
Beta#1 of GeneXus X Evolution 2 will enable users to try to generate applications for Android 2.x devices, as well as for iOS and Blackberry.

RIM - BlackberryWith the help of DVelop, BlackBerry has been added to the list of supported devices in this beta test process. Here you will find instructions to test your application running on BlackBerry. (Temporary restriction: read-only navigation.)
Apple – iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch
Now you can download the “Knowledge Base Navigator” from the Apple Store. This application will allow you to prototype your application (and several other sample applications included) in your iOS device.

Back office - .NET or Ruby
In addition to Ruby, .NET has been made available.
The back office can now be .NET. In addition to enabling ASP.NET, it adds more DBMS due to the features of this GeneXus generator.
