Datalogic-Franklin Covey alliance installs GeneXus systems

By partnering with the Franklin Covey consulting firm, Datalogic has closed an agreement for the installation of its GeneXus-developed Payroll and Human Resources system at Abitab and the Disco supermarket chain in Uruguay. The deal between Datalogic and Abitab embraces different products and services, such as personnel management using the GeneXus Datalogic systems.
 
The software company will install, in Abitab, the 7.4.0 version of the Datalogic Payroll system, generated with the GeneXus Visual Fox Pro generator for SQL server. "This version has been specially optimized for large volumes of data, not only in the typing and control processes, but also in executing performance," said Gustavo Charbonnier, Datalogic's Director.
Datalogic will also install the 2.1 version of the Human Resources system in the ASP modality. This system has been generated with the GeneXus .NET generator, also for SQL Server, so that the client himself can provide services to the different areas of the company. "This version results from the alliance between Datalogic Software and Franklin Covey, an international consulting firm that works in design and consulting," Charbonnier said.
 
On the other hand, Disco Uruguay, a chain of supermarkets with more than five thousand employees, will install the Datalogic's Human Resources System, in a project carried out together with the KPMG and Franklin Covey consulting firms.
"We are working with Franklin Covey in the development of the applications since the beginning of last year. Last May, we launched into the market a new Human Resources line and we have made very satisfactory progress since then," said Ismael Carlos, the person in charge of developing international markets for Datalogic.
"First with the optimization of the module, then with their commercialization, and also with the replication of this scheme in other markets and the good repercussions we have observed in Paraguay, Mexico, and Costa Rica," he added.
"Apart from the natural efficiency that comes with a Datalogic system, we are providing consulting firms and professionals in the area of Human Resources with a very high technological content which will exponentially empower the expansion and consolidation of their own market.
