"When I saw the demo in the GXalliance Meeting, I couldn't
help but be surprised by everything I saw: win, web, transactions and rule
debugging!" commented Gustavo Carriquiry, ARTech's Operations
Manager.
They started with a classic demo of a GeneXus procedure
such as "procedural programming" which is relatively easily to solve by other
means so I thought: "We'll see what happens with events" and they showed me
events in the demo; then I said to myself "we'll see what happens with
declarative rules" and they've got it in rules, said Carriquiry.
"In short, it is a product with an interesting level of
maturity, with a lot of time investment, very thorough, worth trying", concluded
the ARTech operations manager.
Our objective, which we share with ARTech, is to make the
developer's life easier. So we think that the time devoted to "discovering"
programming mistakes should be minimized, pointed Guillermo Pasquero from Accion
Point R&D.
"Accion Point invites all the GeneXus community to
participate in the beta test process of this new version of DebuGX where we
deliver the rule Debug, which users had requested.
"We also decided to give the DebuGX console a new
look&feel, we included the alerts and the Structured Data Type management",
he added.
