Wise introduced GeneXus 7.5 at the .NET Generation Meeting, which was held in San Pablo, last Thursday. Wise is also extending an invitation to those interested in the GeneXus workshop to be held on May 9th. |
More than 350 people gathered at the Blue Tree Towers Hotel on April 18 to participate in this event, which was kicked off with the introduction of the new .NET platform by Leonardo Tolomelli from Microsoft. Nicolás Jodal, ARTech 's Vice-President, introduced the last version of GeneXus, which features a new generator for Microsoft's C# language. "Thanks to the powerful ties existing between ARTech and Microsoft, it was possible for ARTech to launch this generator together with Microsoft's release of the new language for the .NET platform, and the new version of VisualStudio.NET", Mr. Jodal explained. He added that, "GeneXus is a tool for the long run". Clients only need to worry about their business; GeneXus takes care of all related-technology, ARTech' s Vice-President added. Marcos Abellón, from Wise, one of GeneXus distributors in Brazil, also introduced some of the systems that have been developed with GeneXus for the .NET platform. Among such systems, there is an application for cable operators, GXVision; a B2B application for selling refreshments via the Web, GXCoke; a system for learning centers, W/AE Net; and a system for the analysis and automation of the product promotion process called Promotional Effectiveness. All conference presentations are available at http://www.wise.com.br/geracaonet Beside this, Wise is already preparing a workshop on the development of applications with GeneXus, that will take place on May 9th at the company's facilities.
