The 2009 Expoinel was the greatest indoor Nelore exhibition in the world, which took place last September at Campo Grande (MS) in Brazil.
This event included the development of the RCO Procesamiento de Datos softwarehouse, responsible for migrating the system previously known as “WinJulga”, to “WebJulga” based on GeneXus Evolution 1 and GXFlow. Technology-wise, the most significant change was the substitution of a Windows critical mission application with a 100% Web application.
This allowed for “WebJulga” to transmit, in real time and every 20 seconds, the weight of the 1,000 animals that were presented at the greatest Nelore cattle fair.
The main advantage discovered was that breeders and other parties interested were able to quickly know the ranking of every specimen. A transmission that used to take some days was done in a few seconds on the web, in a reliable manner, including data and images.
