A new beta version of GXtest was released today. By participating in this process, you can try this version early and for free, as well as collaborate by sending your suggestions and comments to improve it.

Compared to the initial version of GXtest, version 1.1 brings the following benefits:

• Detect problems that may depend on the browser

As from this version, tests can be run on both Internet Explorer and Firefox.

• Obtain test results in much less time

A significant speed increase regarding the execution of tests has been achieved.

• Improved display of results

It has significant improvements for displaying results, especially by introducing charts that make it easier to assess the aggregate results of many tests.

• Improved organization of projects

Test cases and data sets can be grouped in hierarchical folders, which make it easier to classify and find each one of them.

• Improved integration with GeneXus X (and later)

When creating a project associated with a KB of version X or later, GXtest can directly access the KB to obtain its details, without the need to perform an export from GeneXus.

Try GXtest 1.1 beta for free

To participate in the beta test process, you don't need to have previously purchased GXtest because the beta test process is open and free for all GeneXus users. For more information about this version, click here.
