In the next few days, this tool will also be presented in Brazil –namely, Porto Alegre, Sao Paulo, Blumenau and Curitiba.
Artech and GXtest in Brazil

Client testimonials: “GXtest is a tool with a huge potential” |
Marcelo Carusso is a GeneXus Analyst, a member of GUGs Montevideo, and IT Director of the State Health Services Administration R.A.P. After completing the theoretical-practical GXtest course at LATU, he shares with the Community his expectations with respect to GXtest.
- What impression did you have when you saw GXtest in action?
-Excellent. It’s a great tool, with a huge growth potential. It’s also a timely and useful solution for the GeneXus Community, considering that the testing process, which is frequently performed manually, consumes a lot of time.
- You've already downloaded the Trial version. When exactly do you think it will be useful to you?
- I think that in our daily operations it will enable us to reduce time between development and testing, because the tool allows us to work in parallel as the KB undergoes modifications, impacting changes and solving conflicts.
-What are your expectations with respect to GXtest?
- I have high expectations! The Abstracta work team also made an excellent impression on me. I believe this team has two perfectly combined virtues: humility and professionalism. They offer a great product, with an incredible potential, but they approach us to ask us about our concerns and try to solve them quickly with great professionalism.
I was given the opportunity to suggest functionalities in GXtest, and I contributed some new requirements, such as the possibility to delete a datapool column or being allowed to move forward in the conflict resolution wizard until those conflicts caused by impacting a version of the new KB are solved; and these suggestions, among others, were recorded by Matías Reina and Federico Toledo of Abstacta, to be analyzed and solved.
In short, I’m really happy with the workshop, not only because of the product, but also because of the kindness of the three members of Abstracta: Matías, Federico and Fabián. I would also like to thank Artech for giving me free access to that workshop and allowing us to grow as GeneXus Community by incorporating new products such as GXtest.
