The CommunityWiki is the place where all the GeneXus documentation is available, and from now on, the growing GeneXus users community in Japan will also be able to take advantage of this important tool, since the CommunityWiki has been entirely published in Japanese*.
A Wiki environment reflects two basic concepts that represent the social Web: collaborative participation and knowledge society, which are innovative expressions that have been embraced by the GeneXus Community. In this sense, the Japanese market now has an important resource to find information about Artech's products, a meeting point for the beta testing experience as well as an ideal space to collaborate by adding new content and sharing technical tips.
The young CommunityWiki of Japan was implemented with GXwiki: A wiki developed with GeneXus that can be downloaded, adapted and extended. Visit it!

Testimonies of GXWiki users:
|
Bruno Bonamin, Systems Developer at Legado IT (Argentina):
"We have been using GXWiki (on .NET and with SQL Server 2005 Express) for three months for documentation and internal regulations of the company. This, together with the collaboration of the company's users, makes it possible to have all the relevant information readily available to anyone with a username and password. At present we have about 500 pages neatly organized in categories, which makes finding "something" an easy task that doesn't take hours and hours".
Enrique Almeida, Partner and Director of Concepto (Uruguay):
"Currently we have several Wikis for different purposes but they all share the transparency they provide to information. One is for registering the changes made to a system so that clients can view them. We take the data from our incident system and save it on the Wiki; we plan to make it possible to enter it automatically with the GXWiki API. The second one contains the documents describing the development processes and internal regulations, and the third one is used to store information about a KB. Every night a process is run that searches for KB objects that haven't been documented on the Wiki (by the date and time they were last modified) and a page is saved with information about it. The purpose is to allow its auditors to view the changes made to objects. To save this we use GXPublic and the GXWiki API".
